Reiki
is a heaing art and practice that focuses universal life
force energy for self-healing, the healing of others, and to
assist others in healing themselves.
Claire O'Shea at Emerald City Reiki Center has taught Reiki
for over 30 years and has give Reiki Treatments since taking
her first Reiki class in 1988, Emerald City Reiki Center is an Usui Reiki
Center that in coordination with the
Jikiden Reiki Kenkyukai
in Kyoto, Japan
offers Jikiden Reiki
Shoden and Okuden seminars. Jikiden Reiki means "directly
handed down" in Japanese and is a completely Japanese form
of Usui Reiki tracing its Reiki lineage from Mikao Usui
through Chijiro Hayashi, Chie Hayashi, Masaburu Sugano, Chiyoko Yamaguchi and Tadao
Yamaguchi.
Jikiden Reiki
Shoden the 1st level of
Jikiden Reiki
is offered at a total seminar
costs of
$350.00. .
During the
Jikiden Reiki
Shoden seminar the student receives an English language
manual and receives an English
Jikiden Reiki
certificate.
Jikiden Reiki
Okuden the 2nd level of
Jikiden Reiki
is also offered by Emerald City Reiki Center at a full seminar cost of
$400.00
. Afer
the taking
Jikiden Reiki
Okuden the
Jikiden Reiki
student receives an English language certificate and later a
Japanese certificate issued by the
Jikiden Reiki
Kenkykai in Kyote, Japan.
Once a
Jikiden Reiki
student had completed Shoden and Okuden
repeating
Jikiden Reiki
seminars which include both instruction and reiju is
encouraged and costs $150 for each Shoden and/or Okuden
seminar repeated. Minum 2 students per
seminar. Maximum 10 students per
Jikiden Reiki
seminar.
We
also offer the 1st degree Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki seminar which
costs $200.00 and also 2nd degree Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki
seminar which costs $500.00 as requested by at least 2
students and no more than ten students. Repeating Usui Shiki Ryoho
Reiki seminars once taken is also encouraged by the Emerald
City Reiki Seminar. Repeating 1st degree Usui
Shiki Ryoho seminar including instruction and initiation
costs $100.00 .Repeating 2nd degree Usui Shiki Ryoho
including instruction and initiation costss $250.00 . Minum 2 students per
Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki seminar. Maximum 10 students per
seminar. Emerald City Reiki Center also offer Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master apprenticeship
and initiation. Usui
Shikii Ryoho Reiki is is a Western style of Usui Reiki
associated originally with the Reiki Alliance and Phyllis
Lei Furumoto tracing its Reiki lineage from
Mikao Usui through Chujiro Hayashi, Chie Hayashi and Hawayo Takata.

seminars are scheduled on weekends

We schedule Reiki treatments on weekends as well by appointment.
Reiki treatment sessions are usually 1.5 hours long and cost $150.
We schedule them at 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:30 pm.

Reiki semiars listed below are tentative offerings. We can
also schedule Reiki seminars on consecutive Satturdays or
consecutive Sundays as long as the minimum of two students
